Trust me, I’m an engineer.
Hi, my name is Ivan Yurchenko. (Also, sometimes spelled as Iurchenko).
I am interested in various fields of computing such as distributed systems, artificial intelligence, robotics and machine learning, functional programming, open source software development. Also I do technical blogging.
I am an occasional speaker. Please check out my talks here.
By the advice from Cal Newport’s Deep Work, I no longer present a general purpose email address here. If you have an offer, opportunity, or introduction that might make my life more interesting, email me at interesting [at] ivanyu.me. For the reasons stated above, I’ll only respond to those proposals that are a good match for my schedule and interests.
Links I’d like to share:
Memoria – an open source project to create wide applicable compressed data structures framework, run by a friend of mine.
A programming blog of my friend Vadim (in Russian).
Feel free to tell me about any mistake on the site (factual or language one; English is not my mother tongue so I can make mistakes from time to time).
